Oaklands Global are looking to recruit a dynamic and experienced Technical Trainer who will play a pivotal role in developing and delivering comprehensive training programs to our client’s workforce. As a Technical Trainer, you will collaborate with the Technical Training Manager and various departments to identify training needs, design engaging content, and facilitate sessions that elevate the technical skills and knowledge of our employees.
Key Responsibilities
Training Programme Development
- Support in designing and developing training materials.
- Incorporate adult learning principles for engaging and effective training.
- Create informative online training videos on various subjects.
- Develop technical training courses for all levels.
- Modify content in line with organizational or regulatory changes.
Training Delivery
- Deliver training sessions in-person and through virtual platforms.
- Facilitate hands-on workshops, seminars, and webinars.
- Ensure interactive and engaging training sessions.
- Conduct basic relevant training for new hires.
- Schedule in-house educational sessions using e-learning platforms.
Training Evaluation and Improvement
- Implement mechanisms to assess training program effectiveness.
- Collect feedback for continuous improvement of content and delivery methods.
Technical Expertise
- Stay up to date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Serve as a technical resource and mentor for employees.
Training Documentation
- Ensure required documentation is in place for all content and employees.
- Maintain accurate training records.
- Create and update training documentation.
- Generate regular training reports for management and stakeholders.
Essential Competencies
- Familiarity with web-based learning platforms and modern educational techniques.
- Ability to interpret departmental training requirements and create engaging content.
- Proficient in using training software, learning management systems, and multimedia tools.

Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Trainer or similar role.
- Demonstrated expertise in training and content development.
- Familiarity with various training methods and tools, including online video content creation.
- Experience in creating content for both novices and experts.
- Experience working closely with multi-site teams in a regulated environment.
- Experience in training within a heavily regulated environment.
- Experience in training within an aviation environment.
- Proficiency in common software packages, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, Power BI, and Microsoft Project.
- Working Towards a Training Qualification (e.g., Certified Technical Trainer).
- Ability to acquire UK security clearance.
- Full UK driving licence. - Degree in a relevant field such as Education, Computer Science, Engineering.
- Certification in instructional design or adult learning.
