Oaklands Global are currently seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist on behalf of our well-established engineering client based Northern Mexico, on a permanent basis. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for delivering the very best candidate and stakeholder experience throughout the recruitment journey. We are looking for an experienced individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and communicates effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.

Non-negotiable Essentials

  • A hybrid role, minimum of 4 days in the office, 1 remote.
  • Fluent in English & Spanish, both written and verbal

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain effective partnerships with onsite stakeholders and HR teams.
  • Support the implementation of global recruitment processes.
  • Drive pace, efficiency, and consistency across the recruitment journey to improve time to hire.
  • Conduct vacancy qualification calls with Hiring Managers to ensure accurate and effective attraction of talent in the marketplace, while advising on best-practice attraction and selection methods.
  • Create engaging job advertisements aligned with brand guidelines and vacancy requirements.
  • Use a range of attraction methods to carry out sourcing activities that support the direct sourcing strategy.
  • Screen candidates and coordinate interviews, ensuring an inclusive and diverse talent pool.
  • Build talent pipelines to support future recruitment needs.
  • Use SuccessFactors ATS to manage allocated recruitment activity and vacancies.
  • Work with agencies when required, coordinating briefing calls and managing the agency portal.
  • Coordinate the offer process for successful candidates.

Requirements

Background in recruitment / talent acquisition within aerospace, engineering, tech, or manufacturing preferred

  • Strong experience recruiting both high-volume and specialist (blue-collar roles).
    Solid experience using sourcing platforms to identify candidates.
  • Demonstrated ownership of the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, from briefing through to offer, for a defined business area or function.
  • Ability to craft creative, compelling job advertisements aligned with brand guidelines.
  • Skilled in direct sourcing and innovative attraction strategies to identify top talent.
