Oaklands Global are currently seeking a high-impact Site Director to lead the setup and operation of a new facility dedicated to EWIS (Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems) for the aerospace sector. This is a unique opportunity to play a foundational leadership role, shaping a high-performance team and site culture from the ground up.
Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of establishing and managing a new manufacturing site focused on wiring systems for aerospace applications.
- Build and develop a high-performing engineering and operations team.
- Drive a culture of safety, operational excellence, and continuous improvement through performance-based metrics.
- Lead the implementation of a robust Business Management System (BMS).
- Set strategic direction and ensure strong execution of site goals in alignment with business objectives.
- Represent the site within the broader organization and with key stakeholders, including suppliers and partners.
- Install a lean, quality-focused mindset across all levels of the operation.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in Business, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Certified in Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience within aerospace supply chains or government/military contracting.
- Knowledge of proprietary contracts and associated regulatory considerations.
