Oaklands Global are currently seeking a Senior Vice President of Charter Sales on behalf of one of our leading global aviation clients based in Fort Lauderdale. This is a high-impact role, responsible for driving sustainable growth, strengthening their market position and delivering long-term value through leadership, strategy, and client excellence.

As a key member of the US leadership team, you will shape and execute the strategy for their US operations, ensuring the Fort Lauderdale office plays a pivotal role in the company’s success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver divisional strategy aligned with US and global objectives to drive revenue, GP, and EBITDA growth.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and development.
  • Oversee trading activity (c.20%), providing guidance, supporting brokers in negotiations, and maintaining selective hands-on involvement.
  • Drive business development and client growth, acquiring high-value accounts and expanding market presence.
  • Collaborate with other divisions and the Marketing team to maximize opportunities across regions and products.
  • Monitor KPIs, ensure effective use of systems and processes, and provide insights for continuous improvement.
  • Achieve performance targets for revenue, GP, and EBITDA.
  • Ensure the team meets or exceeds individual objectives.
  • Represent the client professionally, maintaining the highest standards of integrity and client service.

Requirements

  • Senior leadership experience in sales or trading within aviation, ideally charter-focused and multi-geography.
  • Proven track record in building, leading, and developing high-performing teams.
  • Demonstrable success in driving commercial growth and profitability.
  • Strong business development and client relationship management skills.
  • Analytical, data-driven decision-making capability.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills.
  • Commercially astute, balancing strategic leadership with hands-on trading.
  • Strong IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office, and adaptable to new systems.
