Responsibilities

• Arrange, schedule, and plan the daily task for line maintenance to guarantee the timely ordering and delivery of essential spare parts needed to maximise defect clearing.
• Provide short, medium, and long-term planning support to the planning department.
• Ascertain that staff members responsible for operations and maintenance are properly apprised of the company aircraft's daily maintenance status.
• Ensure that faults are cleared in a timely and cost-effective way while adhering to company and National Authority regulations and procedures by organising defect investigation and recording.
• When adjustments to the operations flight schedule are required to reduce delays and cancellations, thoroughly coordinate and communicate with the Operations and Engineering staff. Offer technical assistance to flying and operations staff, and make sure that line maintenance staff efficiently briefs crews in order to facilitate methodical troubleshooting and problem removal.
• Manage the OOP and ADD databases to ensure adherence to National Authority maintenance control specifications.
• Work with the Compliance department to keep the fleet's airworthiness certification current.
• Support the technical department in resolving technical and operational fleet issues as well as required AD/SB requirements.
• Assure control over paperwork, spare parts, labour, lodging, and transportation to ensure the prompt recovery of AOG aircraft off base.
• Cooperation with Third Party Maintenance Support Organisations authorised by the NAA to guarantee prompt and economical aircraft recovery.
