We are partnering with a leading Investment Bank seeking a highly motivated Vice President to join their Depositories Investment Banking team in Chicago. This role is a unique opportunity for an experienced professional with middle-market M&A expertise and a deep understanding of depositories.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of M&A and capital raising transactions within the depositories space, with a focus on middle-market clients.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, leveraging strong Illinois ties.
- Collaborate with senior bankers to source and originate new opportunities in the banking sector.
- Develop and present high-quality pitch materials, financial models, and transaction deliverables.
- Oversee transaction processes from inception to closing, managing due diligence, deal structuring, and negotiations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Investment Banking, with a proven track record of M&A transactions in the middle market space.
- Strong understanding of the depositories industry, with the ability to identify opportunities and risks within the sector.
- Strong ties to Chicago and the local business community.
- Exceptional financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
- Proven leadership capabilities and the ability to manage client relationships effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
