A leading Investment Bank is seeking a Vice President to join their growing Industrials Investment Banking team in Detroit. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with middle-market M&A experience and a passion for the industrials sector, including manufacturing, residential, commercial and facility services / specialty distribution / industrials and business services, and related sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of M&A and capital raising transactions within the industrials sector, particularly for middle-market clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, leveraging your Michigan network to drive business development and origination efforts.
- Work closely with senior bankers to identify new opportunities and advise clients on strategic options within the industrials sector.
- Prepare and present comprehensive financial models, valuation analyses, and pitch materials to support transaction recommendations.
- Manage transaction processes from start to finish, overseeing due diligence, structuring, negotiations, and deal execution.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Investment Banking, with a demonstrated track record of M&A transactions in the middle market, ideally within the industrials sector.
- Strong understanding of key trends and dynamics in the industrials space, including automotive, manufacturing, and related industries.
- Ties to Michigan and familiarity with the local business environment are highly preferred.
- Exceptional financial modeling and analytical skills, with the ability to deliver clear, insightful client presentations.
- Proven leadership and client relationship management experience.
- Ability to handle multiple transactions simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
