Join a dynamic and fast-paced Technology Investment Banking team in New York City as a Senior Analyst, where you will play an integral role in executing M&A and capital raising transactions for clients in the tech sector. As part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team, you will contribute to a wide range of high-profile deals across various subsectors, including software, hardware, fintech, and emerging technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Create comprehensive pitch books and presentation materials for clients, with a focus on TMT industries.
- Conduct industry and company-specific research, staying up to date on key trends and market developments within the tech sector.
- Assist in the valuation of targets and lead the financial due diligence process for group targets, including Net Working Capital calculations, Quality of Earnings analysis, and supporting the drafting of tailored legal contracts.
- Collaborate closely with Associates and VPs to build detailed financial models and develop high-quality deliverables for technology-focused investment banking clients.
- Support deal origination by evaluating potential M&A and capital raising opportunities, working on a diverse set of assignments across the technology landscape.
- Play a key role in transaction execution, supporting M&A and capital raising processes, and liaising with clients, senior bankers, and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience as an Investment Banking Analyst at a leading firm, with hands-on M&A experience in the technology middle market sector.
- Ability to create innovative solutions, articulate complex ideas, and adapt to the fast-evolving nature of the technology industry.
- Strong ability to multi-task and thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment, demonstrating a high level of ambition, proactivity, and drive.
- Excellent strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
- Experience working closely with senior bankers and clients, demonstrating a high level of professional maturity.
- Strong financial modeling skills, with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other financial tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively both independently and as part of a high-performing team.
