Investment Banking Associates - Business Services - Atlanta

Key Responsibilities

• Lead critical aspects of transaction execution across M&A and capital-raising engagements
• Develop and supervise the creation of complex financial models and transaction-related analyses
• Conduct in-depth valuation, pricing, and financial assessments
• Prepare high-quality marketing materials, including Confidential Information Memorandums, management presentations, and pitch decks
• Support the planning and execution of live transactions and client mandates
• Coordinate and perform detailed business due diligence
• Conduct industry research and benchmarking through comparable company and precedent transaction analysis
• Mentor, train, and support the professional development of junior team members
• Build and maintain direct relationships with clients and prospective business partners
• Take on additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned by senior management

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in investment banking or transaction advisory, or MBA + 1 year at the Associate level in investment banking
• Background in Specialty Distribution & Services is a plus, but not required
• Exceptional financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal presence and a solid foundation in finance and accounting
• Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• High level of professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information
• Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality work with exceptional attention to detail
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and adherence to compliance standards
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Quick learner, particularly in financial valuation techniques and accounting standards
• Strong client relationship management and teamwork skills
