Oaklands Global are partnered with a prestigiously recognised Investment Banking Boutique specialised in the Engineering, Architecture and Consulting industry looking to hire multiple Analysts with an immediate start to be based in NYC or their sunny Miami office. Our client closes 30+ deals a year between 200mm and 2bn USD in value, competition with the most prestigious names in the industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed financial analysis, including building and maintaining financial models.
- Perform company, industry, and market research to support transaction recommendations.
- Prepare pitch materials, client presentations, and marketing documents for M&A and capital-raising mandates.
- Assist in the execution of live transactions, including due diligence, data-room management, and process coordination.
- Analyze financial statements and develop valuation materials using methodologies such as DCF, comparable companies, and precedent transactions.
- Support senior team members in preparing strategic insights and deal-related deliverables.
- Monitor industry trends and track relevant market activity to inform client discussions.
- Manage and update databases, transaction pipelines, and internal reporting tools.
- Ensure accuracy and quality of all analysis and presentation materials.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders throughout deal processes.
Requirements
- Strong academic background with an Masters or undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics from a top-tier institution.
- 1-3 years of M&A experienced within Investment Banking at a reputable firm.
- Working knowledge of valuation methods and the mechanics of M&A and private equity transactions.
- Strong technical capabilities, including advanced financial modelling and valuation skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
- Clear communication abilities—both written and verbal—and strong organizational habits.
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to support team objectives.
