Oaklands Global are currently looking for a dynamic FDM & Safety Analyst to join our client on a permanent basis. The relevant candidate will play a critical role in managing and analysing flight and safety data to ensure compliance with aviation regulations and help maintain operational safety. Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with CASA Australia, CASA PNG, and other regulatory standards.
- Collect, monitor, and analyse flight data, identifying trends, anomalies, and safety risks.
- Develop and present detailed safety reports for management.
- Collaborate with operations to manage flight data limitations and exceedances.
- Perform regular data health checks to ensure accuracy.
- Support safety investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage FDM software and participate in key safety meetings.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Aviation Safety Management Systems (SMS) and Flight Data Monitoring (FDM).
- Proven experience in a similar role within aviation safety.
- Technical qualifications: CASA/EASA/UK CAA licenses, or equivalent degrees in engineering, aviation, or safety.
- Proficiency in FDM software and data tools like MS Power BI.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to meet tight deadlines and drive continuous improvement.
