Oaklands Global are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Station Maintenance Manager to join our client’s team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of line maintenance activities. If you have experience in maintenance management or supervision within an aircraft line maintenance environment, fluent in German and happy with roster 4/3 (Late and Night Shifts Only), we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage day-to-day line maintenance operations to ensure safe and efficient aircraft operations.
- Lead a team of maintenance engineers, technicians, and staff, providing leadership and support.
- Ensure compliance with EASA regulations and company policies.
- Oversee maintenance schedules, ensuring all work is completed in a timely manner.
- Liaise with other departments and external parties to coordinate maintenance activities and resolve issues.
- Manage resources, ensuring efficient use of materials, tools, and manpower.
- Report to the Station Maintenance Manager on performance, safety, and operational issues.
Requirements
- EASA Aircraft Maintenance License (Category B1/B2 or equivalent).
- Proven experience in maintenance management or supervision in a line maintenance environment.
- Fluency in German (both spoken and written) is essential.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving ability and the ability to manage time-sensitive tasks effectively.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible and adaptable to a 4/3 roster, with a focus on late and night shifts.
