Oaklands Global are currently recruiting a Compliance Verification Engineer either with a specialism in Stress & Structures or Cabin Safety.

Responsibilities

  • Planning and implementation of certification projects in the field of Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS) equipment.
  • Classification of Changes in Minor/Major, Approval of Minor Changes.
  • Preparation and approval of certification plans and documents for compliance demonstration (e.g. Qualification Test Reports, Safety Assessments).
  • Communication with suppliers and authorities.
  • Witnessing of admission tests.
  • Advising the development department in the area of airworthiness, participation in design reviews.
  • Participation in the continuous improvement of the design organization.

Requirements

  • Degree as a mechanical engineer (ETH/FH/TS), aviator (FH) or comparable training.
  • Several years of professional experience in the certification of aviation products, preferably as a CVE. Good knowledge of EASA Part 21, Certification Specifications, Safety Assessment and Equipment Qualification. Knowledge of flight testing and safety management is an advantage.
  • High quality awareness and a team- and solution-oriented way of working.
  • Very good written and spoken English and good knowledge of German.
