Our client is a leading MRO organisation providing high-quality Base Maintenance and Aircraft Painting services to commercial and regional aircraft operators across Europe. Oaklands Global are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to join their commercial team. This role will focus on identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic relationships, and driving revenue growth across the company’s Base Maintenance and Aircraft Painting services.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a commercial strategy to increase sales of Base Maintenance and Aircraft Painting services.
  • Identify, approach, and secure new airline and leasing customers, while nurturing existing client relationships.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
  • Prepare compelling proposals and tenders in collaboration with commercial and technical teams.
  • Attend key industry events and represent the company professionally to promote brand visibility.
  • Work closely with operations and planning teams to ensure customer expectations are met and capacity is optimised.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and competitor insights to senior management.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in Business Development or Sales within the MRO or aviation services sector.
  • Strong understanding of Base Maintenance (heavy checks) and/or Aircraft Painting operations.
  • Established network of airline, leasing, and MRO industry contacts.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Commercially astute, with the ability to convert opportunities into long-term partnerships.
  • Flexibility to travel across Europe and internationally as required.
