Oaklands Global are currently recruiting a Business Development Manager on behalf of one of our leading aviation clients based in Biggin Hill. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic, highly-respected organisation within the private and business aviation sector.
Responsibilities
- Creating a Business Development Plan on an annual basis identifying key target areas.
- Business development activities to bring additional managed aircraft under the companies Flight Operations.
- Create aircraft management and sales proposals.
- Managing the ongoing relationship with new aircraft management clients.
- Identifying, managing and co-ordinating pre-owned off brand aircraft (non-Pilatus) sales and acquisitions opportunities.
- Identifying opportunities for the sale of flight operations services.
- Identifying opportunities for the sale of CAMO services.
- Coordinating any Pilatus or Tecnam aircraft sales opportunities with the existing appropriates sales teams within the company.
- Development of the client base of direct charter clients.
- Identify new innovative business opportunities.
- Assisting with cover for charter sales and charter brokerage activities on an occasional basis as required.
Requirements
- Must have strong experience within a business aviation sales environment, ideally dealing with aircraft owners, their representatives and HNWIs.
- The position is primarily home based with the requirement to attend the Biggin Hill office facility on average one day per week. There is a requirement for travel mainly within the UK, although some overseas travel may be required from time to time.
