Oaklands Global are currently recruiting a B1 Certifying Engineer on behalf of one of our leading aviation clients based in the Middle East. This is an exciting opportunity to join a globally respected industry leader and be part of high-impact, high-profile operations that shape the future of the aviation sector.
Responsibilities
- Perform and certify maintenance, repairs, and modifications on a variety of aircraft types in accordance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Role includes flying duties to support the aircraft for high-profile operations and extended maintenance input support, liaising with MRO providers worldwide.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and avionics issues to ensure aircraft readiness and safety.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary engineering team to deliver first class maintenance support.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out to the highest standards of safety and compliance.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers, contributing to a culture of learning and development.
Requirements
- Valid B1/B2 EASA or UK CAA License with strong hands-on experience on widebody Boeing aircraft.
- B2 License - highly beneficial.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Licensed Aircraft Engineer.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with a commitment to quality and safety.
- Knowledge of aviation regulations and safety standards.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and the willingness to go the extra mile in a highly demanding and rewarding operation.
