Oaklands Global are currently recruiting an Aircraft Sales Executive on behalf of one of our leading aviation clients based in the UK. This is a high-impact, growth-focused role where you will take full ownership of driving aircraft sales to Flight Training Organisations (FTOs) across the British Isles. You will actively develop and expand the territory, build strategic relationships with key decision-makers, and position the company as the go-to provider of training aircraft solutions within the FTO market.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a sales approach that aligns with the company’s brand and delivers against our target audience.
- Manage sales of new light aircraft to Flight Training Organisations.
- Attend conferences and exhibitions to promote the aircraft and increase brand awareness.
- Build and develop a network of contacts and referral sources to facilitate sales.
- Proactively schedule and conduct targeted sales meetings and customer visits across the territory.
- Manage and develop customer relationships to foster loyalty and support for both the the company and aircraft brands.
- Proactively provide flying demonstrations to customers throughout the country, with an emphasis on the safe operation of the aircraft.
- Develop an annual sales plan in collaboration with the Senior Sales Manager.
- Provide mentoring, coaching, guidance, and advice to new aircraft customers regarding the operation of their aircraft.
- Act as a strong brand ambassador for the company and aircraft.
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of, and experience within, General Aviation.
- A minimum of 500 hours’ flight time; an Instructor Rating would be preferable.
- VFR pilot (PPL) preferably with European experience.
- Flight planning experience (European experience preferred).
- Sales background preferred.
- Established reputation and network within the FTO community and wider aviation sector.
- Passion for General Aviation.
- Strong client relationship management and customer service ethic.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong business acumen.
- Discreet.
- Highly motivated.
- Visible and proactive.
- Collaborative team player, able to overcome objections and close deals.
- Personable.
