Oaklands Global are looking for several highly organised and detail-oriented Aircraft Maintenance Planners to join our client’s dynamic team in Germany. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our client’s customer fleet, while working in a fast-paced, shift-based (Nights & Lates Only) environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior maintenance planners and technicians to support the execution of aircraft maintenance plans.
  • Assist in scheduling and coordinating maintenance activities, including routine inspections, repairs, modifications, and component replacements.
  • Prepare and verify work packages for assigned maintenance tasks, ensuring accurate documentation of task instructions, tools, materials, and timelines.
  • Monitor the progress of maintenance activities, ensuring adherence to schedules and resolving any issues that could impact aircraft availability.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of maintenance activities, including completed work, parts used, and time spent.
  • Support the evaluation of maintenance processes, driving improvements in efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Assist in conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation measures to minimise operational disruptions and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Stay informed on maintenance regulations, best practices, and technological advancements in aircraft line maintenance.
  • Provide training and guidance to colleagues on the maintenance management system.

Requirements

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and documentation.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong commitment to safety protocols and risk identification and mitigation.
  • Completed vocational training, ideally in aircraft maintenance (though not mandatory).
  • Previous experience or exposure to aircraft line maintenance is a plus.
