Oaklands Global are currently recruiting B1 & B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineers on behalf of one of their leading MRO client based in Birmingham, Manchester & Newquay.
Join a dynamic aviation company as a B1 or B2 Engineer! In this essential role, you’ll manage aircraft maintenance, ensuring compliance with Part 145 standards and delivering high-quality service. Reporting to the Hangar Manager, you'll lead a team to meet tight schedules while maintaining technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake maintenance, repair, and overhaul of customer aircraft, adhering to Part 145 standards.
- Certify specific aircraft types and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Lead and supervise aircraft mechanics and support staff to uphold high maintenance standards.
- Manage and deliver maintenance tasks on schedule in collaboration with the Check Manager.
- Ensure timely and efficient aircraft maintenance for customer satisfaction and on-time performance.
- Monitor progress, tackle issues, and provide solutions to ensure seamless operations.
- Maintain safety standards, assist with audits, and contribute to team development.
Requirements
- Part 66 Licence (B1) with CAA License for 737/757 (Birmingham) and A320/A330/777 (Manchester).
- A minimum of 3 years experience as a technician.
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Full UK driving licence and proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
